In a move that’s sure to eventually rival YouTube’s dominance on the viral video market, Yahoo is now showing homemade videos on its online photo-sharing site. If you have a Flickr account, you should check this feature out. You can embed videos on your blog also and resize them before you post. At this time, normal users can’t post videos without being invited to a group. Flickr is still testing out the system I’m sure.

What’s funny is there’s a petition out there by some Flickr users to remove this feature and keep Flickr as a photo only service. I say keep this functionality and make it better than YouTube. The video quality seems pretty decent. Check out the following Flickr video:
